Gifts for Good is a corporate gifting company headquartered in Los Angeles. Our team curates ethical and socially responsible premium gifts that will make a lasting impression. Our products support the work of over 70 nonprofits and social enterprises in 50 U.S. states and 72 countries around the globe tackling our world’s most pressing social, economic, and environmental challenges.

Is Gifts for Good a non profit?

No, Gifts for Good is a social enterprise; a business that exists not only to make a profit, but to make the world better! Members of our team have studied social enterprise at the USC Marshall School of Business Master’s Program in Social Entrepreneurship and have worked in leading social enterprises like TOMS and Fair Trade USA. We believe that the most sustainable way to create change is through business.

Is Gifts for Good a Certified B Corporation?

Yes! In 2020, we became a certified B-Corp; a new kind of business that balances purpose and profit. We are legally required to consider the impact of our decisions for our workers, customers, suppliers, community, and the environment.

Shipping & Returns

I​ ​live​ ​in​ ​the​ ​U.S.​ ​What​ ​does​ ​shipping​ ​cost?​ ​How​ ​long​ ​does​ ​it​ ​take?

Shipping costs $9.99 for orders under $49.99, and $14.99 for orders $50 and up. Exceptions apply for bulk orders where shipping is billed at cost or billed to a corporate Fedex or UPS account number. Shipping times vary depending on the product and quantity purchased. Once your order ships you’ll receive tracking information that will estimate the time of delivery. I​ ​don’t​ ​live​ ​in​ ​the​ ​U.S.​ ​Can​ ​you​ ​ship​ ​to​ ​me?

We’re sorry to say that for individual gift orders we don’t ship internationally. We’re growing quickly and hope to accommodate orders outside the U.S. in the future. We partner with Graf Air Freight for bulk orders that include international addresses. Contact our sales team to inquire about how Graf and Gifts for Good can get your gifts to your international recipients by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550.

In what states is shipping taxed?

Shipping is taxed within the following states: District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, North Carolina, New Jersey, and Ohio.

What is your return policy?

We accept unworn, unused, and uncustomized items within 30 days from the date of purchase. All items must be returned with the hang tags attached and all original packaging. Any merchandise without these items, or considered worn, may not qualify for a refund. All products that have been customized (etched, embroidered, etc) are not eligible for return unless they arrive with a manufacturer defect or have been damaged in shipping.

Fine jewelry, consumable food products, and alcohol are not eligible for returns unless defective or damaged. If you receive a defective item or an item damaged in transit, we will happily replace the item with a new item - just give us a call. Please note, any items that arrive damaged from shipping must be reported to Gifts for Good within 5 days of receipt of item. Please contact our Customer Support team anytime by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550. Our standard office hours are Monday - Friday 9AM - 5PM Pacific Standard Time. We will reply to your email within 24 hours during standard operating hours.

How do I return my Gifts for Good order?

Please contact our Customer Support team anytime by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550. Once we have authorized the return, we will send you information on where to send your items for return. We will need you to securely repackage your merchandise and cover or remove any original mailing address label or carrier barcodes from the package.

Can I just buy personal gifts for friends and family with you?

Absolutely! Anyone can shop in the Gifts for Good Marketplace! While some products require a minimum quantity to purchase or customize, many products can be individually purchased and shipped either to your address or directly to your gift recipient. Happy shopping for good!

Can​ ​I​ ​add​ ​a​ ​gift​ ​message​ ​to​ ​my​ ​order?

If you are placing a bulk order with our sales team, we can work with you to print a custom gift card to be included in your custom order. If you are shopping for gifts directly on our store, you can add a gift message in the shopping cart just before you reach checkout, and your message will be printed on the packing slip that ships with your order. If your order contains multiple items that ship from different locations, each packing slip will carry the same gift message.

How​ ​do​ ​I​ ​add​ ​multiple​ ​items​ ​to​ ​my​ ​shipment?

While you can add multiple products to your order before checking out, they might not necessarily ship together. The gifts on our website are sold by various nonprofits and social enterprises around the world. Only products sold by the same organization can be shipped in the same shipment. Our shipping process is a lot like ordering through Amazon where multiple packages can arrive from a single order.

What method of payment can I use?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Facebook Pay, Amazon Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal Express Checkout. For corporate bulk orders we also accept checks and ACH payments. If you are looking to place an order with a check or ACH payment, please get in touch with our sales team by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550 to discuss your order.

How can I track my order?

We will email you tracking numbers as items in your order ship, or if there are updates on the status of your order. If you still have any questions or concerns about the status of your order, please contact our Customer Support team by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550. For bulk orders, your sales account manager will email you a spreadsheet with all of the tracking numbers for your bulk order.

Gift Cards

How long will it take for Gift Card orders to be sent?

Digital gift cards will be issued immediately. Bulk gift codes should be sent within two business days of payment recognition.

Can I request for my gift cards to be sent on a specific day/time?

Absolutely! When sending your gift card, choose the “Send as a gift”
option. A pop-up will appear, from there, click “choose send date.”

How do I know what the balance is on my gift card?

Can gift cards be sent via IM?

Yes, when sending your gift card, choose the “Send as a gift” option. A pop-up will appear, from there, click the “IM” option.

Do the gift codes expire?

No, our gift codes never expire.

Can I send a physical gift card?

For environmental reasons we have switched to paperless digital gift cards and do not ship physical gift cards. We do offer the ability to print your gift card at home to pass on to your recipient. Just choose the “Create your E-gift” option and a pop-up will appear, from there, click “print.”

Are there any limitations for using a gift card towards an order?

Gift cards can be used for all online orders on giftsforgood.com, except towards alcohol and any items with a minimum order quantity amount (ex: apparel and custom candles).

If I buy bulk gift codes, how do they get disbursed to my gift recipients?

If you buy bulk gift codes our standard process is to send you a spreadsheet with the codes you purchased. You can then distribute those codes to your recipients in any manner you choose. Alternatively, you can contact our sales team at hello@giftsforgood.com or (877) 554-1550 and inquire about our service to send a corporate branded and custom designed email campaign to your distribution email list with your bulk codes inserted in each gift recipient’s personal email.

What is your return policy on gift cards?

Gifts for Good gift cards are non-returnable and non-refundable. We are happy to donate the remaining value of your gift card to our nonprofit partners - please email hello@giftsforgood.com.

What​ ​causes​ ​does​ ​Gifts​ ​for​ ​Good​ ​support?

The 6 main cause categories on our website are: women at risk, children in need, the environment, animal welfare, health, and economic development. However, a number of other specific causes are supported by our gifts such as refugees, hunger, clean water, and human trafficking. As we continue to add new products, new causes are also added. Keep in mind, you can always shop by cause.

We support a variety of organizations and causes! Gifts for Good works with over 60 nonprofits and social enterprises (and growing) to create impact in 50 U.S. states and 72 countries. In some cases the producer of a gift is actually a nonprofit, like the Downtown Women’s Center in Los Angeles, where their clients are transitioning out of homelessness and are the makers of the candles and soap products. In other instances, the social impact is provided by a partnering nonprofit—like Cotopaxi - who partners with Nothing but Nets to provide bed nets in the fight against malaria. No matter the Cause Partner that is providing the social impact, you can be sure that the Gifts for Good team has vetted the organization and worked to provide a tangible impact metric so you can better connect to the good your gift does in the world.

What​ ​impact​ ​criteria​ ​do​ ​you​ ​look​ ​for​ ​in​ ​a​ ​Cause​ ​Partner?

Each Cause Partner we select goes through a vetting process. We look for brands that have transparency in their supply chain and source raw materials in an ethical fashion. We look for organizations that are providing dignified work opportunities and that co-create their programs with their beneficiaries. We ask organizations to define how they measure their outcomes and to quantify what outputs each product supports. How else does Gifts for Good create impact and serve charitable causes?

In addition to regular charitable giving, Gifts for Good organizes quarterly volunteer events for staff and commits to donate the equivalent of 2% of revenues or more to charitable partners each year. We are also a Certified B Corporation and have Climate Neutral Certification.
