Prosperity Candle is a social enterprise that supports women refugees that have been relocated to western Massachusetts through UN, federal, and state programs, and are working to build a brighter future for themselves and their families in the US. To date, they've provided living wage employment to women refugees from Burma, Bhutan, and the Congo after living in temporary refugee camps from 5 to 18 years. Overseas, they've helped to employ dozens women in Haiti and more than 100 widows in Iraq.

Our Gratitude Gift Box comes complete with our best selling hand poured Burmese Gratitude Candle and a set of two Brazilian Agate coasters in 'natural' color. Items gift boxed in a signature Gifts for Good luxe gift box with white crinkle, black ribbon, and a story card explaining the social impact of the products. Inspired by the Burmese women refugees who hand-pour each candle, the fragrance of the candle evokes a cherished memory of their homeland of Burma. Agates make an excellent coaster or the perfect holder for our custom branded candles. Our signature black gift boxes are uniquely made from repurposed organic cotton t-shirts by artisans in India. The products inside each gift box are hand assembled by people with barriers to employment at Goodwill Southern California, so you can rest easy knowing there is impact at every level of this gift: the product, the box, and the fulfillment process!

Agates are created from Brazilian geode thinly sliced to reveal a brilliant crystalline pattern and traditionally revered for their metaphysical properties

Wax and Wick: soy blend candle with wood wick, made with FSC Certified sustainable U.S. wood infused with a 100% natural blend of food-grade linseed and fruit oils

Please be aware that your candles can be affected by severe exposure to hot temperatures of 80 degrees or higher for long periods of time. Unfortunately, mail trucks are not air conditioned. Customer assumes the risk if candle melts during transit and the product may not be returned or credited if melted upon receipt.

Shipping and returns

This gift usually ships within 1-3 business days via USPS, UPS or Fedex ground services. Shipping transit times may vary depending on delivery location.

RETURN POLICY:

We accept unworn, unused, and uncustomized items within 30 days from the date of purchase. All items must be returned with the hang tags attached and all original packaging. Any merchandise without these items, or considered worn, may not qualify for a refund. All products that have been customized (etched, embroidered, etc) are not eligible for return unless they arrive with a manufacturer defect or have been damaged in shipping.

Items in the following categories cannot be returned: Fine jewelry, consumable food products, alcohol and print on demand wall art. These items are not eligible for returns unless defective or damaged. If you receive a defective item or an item that has been damaged in transit, we will happily replace the item with a new one - just give us a call. Please note, any items that arrive damaged from shipping must be reported to Gifts for Good within 5 days of receiving it.

HOW TO MAKE A RETURN:

Please contact our Customer Support team anytime by emailing hello@giftsforgood.com or calling (877) 554-1550 and make your return request, stating the order number, and the product name of the item you want to return. Once we have authorized the return, we will send you information on where to send the item(s). We will need you to securely repackage your merchandise and cover or remove any original mailing address label or carrier barcodes from the package.
